These crucible cups are great for the small time hobbyist who is melting small amounts of material or scrap and can be used with the Kwik Kiln Propane Melting Furnace and can be handled using our steel U-Tongs. Keep in mind, these crucibles will wear out over time and will need to be replaced frequently if they are repeatedly exposed to high temperatures from a either a torch or melting furnace. This crucible can also be used with silver, copper, aluminum, brass, and other metals (capacities will vary). Capacity: 3 oz of gold (approximately 1-1/2 oz of silver).
