He's the Same: A Daily Reminder That Even Though Circumstances Change, God Never Does

Life happens. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, and sometimes it's ugly. When we are in the throes of striving for great relationships with others, creating a positive and unique family atmosphere, and doing the next best thing to survive, it's easy for the questions to come.Why me?How am I going to fix this?When will I get over this?What good can ever come now?No matter what is happening in our lives, no two situations are ever the same. It takes time of reflection, stressing, crying, and pouring over our feelings day after day to make it make sense.However, as confusing as it is to us, it makes sense to God. I promise it does.It really all boils down to one thing. The sooner we get out of ourselves, look at a situation, and realize that God had something to say about it, the better off we will be in the end. Even though our situations may change, our God never does. This devotion highlights the truth in Biblical scripture, and allows for reflecting on past and present life events while planning for the future, and invites Jesus Christ into the daily space of our lives -- the space where the mess is.
